PureVis™ technology uses 270-275 nanometer spectrum to neutralize up to 99% of bacteria such as E.coli by breaking down their DNA before they have a chance to spread, improving the quality of your water. At the minimum, the bottle should be filled with water that is clear to the eyes and does not contain any physical sediment as PureVis™ technology will not remove these impurities from the water. The UV-C LED chip in the LARQ Bottle PureVis™ 2 Cap are smaller, more energy efficient, non-toxic (mercury-free), and more economical compared to traditional Mercury-based UV technology.

The cap is waterproof IPX7-rated, so you are able to hand wash the cap if needed. Please ensure that the cap is completely dry before charging to avoid the risk of injury.

The LARQ Bottle PureVis™ Cap uses a Li-Polymer battery, similar to the one you would find in your smartphone.

In order to use the Swig Top straw, you will need the PureVis™ 2 Adapter. If you don't have one already, you can purchase the Straws & Adaptors Pack.

Yes, you can use the Filter Straw with the PureVis™ 2 cap. Be sure to use the PureVis™ 2 adapter that comes with the Filter Straw.
