I did not expect to love this bottle or use it as much as I do. It was supposed to be a travel companion but it is an every day buddy. I have reverse osmosis at home—and I still use the Larq because I like to drink out of it and I like that it measures my water intake. But the thing that has really stunned me is that until I got this bottle, I really didn’t stop and think about how much water I was consuming outside my house that is not 100% clean. And by this I mean water that may contain PFAS, nanoplastics, pharmaceuticals. I drink so much water, and throughout the day, I was drinking water from many sources. Now that I have the Larq measuring my water intake, I see how much exposure to weird stuff I am saving myself. And, also, how I am saving myself from funky flavors. :) Larq water just takes better. When I do travel (so far all domestically), Larq brings me so much peace of mind. I can fill my bottle using any tap, and I know I am drinking decent water. The filter subscription is excellent, too. The filters arrive and I don’t even need to think about ordering them. One more thing I love is the handle. It’s comfortable to grip, but it’s also super convenient to unclasp and then re-attach around the strap of my crossbody. That’s usually how I carry the bottle—attached to my crossbody. I really am impressed with Larq. Much more so than I thought I would be. It’s one higher priced purchase (for a bottle of water) that I really have not regretted once. And if I lost it, I would buy another one that very same day. Oh! Sizing! When my bottle arrived, I felt the large was too big and I kind of wished I had gotten the smaller one. But very quickly, I realized the bigger size is the right one for me. I love drinking out of this thing, so I need the extra water. Not to mention, the larger size is more convenient when traveling because you can’t find a tap everywhere you go.
